Born on July 18, 1968, Florin Piersic Jr. graduated the “Ion Luca Caragiale” National University for Theatrical and Cinema Art. As actor of the “Teatrul Mic”, he played in shows as : The Comedy of Errors, The Recovery, Zoo Story, Belladona, Key West, Children of a Smaller God.

Later, he started to translate and direct for theater and cinema, as independent. He directed and played in Dice and Cards, Say it’s OK, Opposites attract, Tom and Jerry, as well as in movies : Fix Alert, Eminescu vs Eminem, Killing Time, after his own scripts.

One of the most important moments of his career was the one-man-show Sex, Drugs and Rock and Roll, a difficult show, awarded with the Best actor of year 2002 award, at the UNITER Gala.

Ten years after the last show with Sex, Drugs and Rock and Roll, Florin Piersic Jr. returns with FREAK SHOW.

Elaborated on a script of Florin Piersic Jr., in his directing and acting, FREAK SHOW is a one-man-show unique in Romania.

Florin Piersic Jr. is playing 13 characters. Fake billionaire. Worker on a site. Banker. Pensioner. Movie producer. Teacher. Homeless.

The show is following the chameleonic evolution of one actor, which turns continuously in a new character, in a hallucinating succession.

In cinema, he played in Romanian movies (Gruber’s Travel, Quod erad demonstrandum), as well as international (Charlie Countryman, Werewolf 2 - The beast among us, Youth without youth, Bibliotheque Pascal).

In television, he played one of the main roles in the TV series Emergency Room. In 2015, Florin Piersic Jr. was named Best movie actor in a main role, at the Gopo Gala (Quod erad demonstrandum).

He published the novel Romantic Porno and the collection of short stories "Complete Works", at Humanitas Publishing House.

In the present, Florin Piersic Jr. is working on the movie Nothing about love, on his own script, to be released in 2016.
